The Hart wrestling team traveled to Lakeview on Wednesday night, defeating Shelby 54-18 and Lakeview 68-12.

Undefeated Pirate wrestlers were Robert Altland, Noah Cantu, Jacob Bosley, Andrew Whitney, Andy Rendon, Jerry Brandel, Arturo Perez, Brady Tate, Abel Mendoza, Carlos Garza, Jacob Hoebeke, and Jack Wittman.

SAILORS EDGE PAIR OF OPPONENTS

The Mona Shores wrestling team went 2-0 on Wednesday night at home, defeating Kenowa Hills 42-38 and East Kentwood 48-30.

Charles Allen won his first match of the year with a pin in the dual against Kenowa Hills, while freshmen Robby Swanker went 2-0 on the night with two pins.

BULLDOGS BITE BUCS

The Grand Haven wrestling team hosted Grandville on Wednesday night and fell to the Bulldogs, 48-21.

Buccaneers who picked up wins were Cody Miller (112), Caleb Braley (119), Daniel Guillen (130), Drake Morley (215), and Collin Monsma (285). Miller and Braley pinned their opponents while Guillen, Morley and Monsma all picked up their victories via decision.

MUSKEGON GOES WINLESS AT MASON COUNTY

Muskegon dropped a pair of matches at Mason County Central, losing to the host Spartans, 48-16, and to O-K Black Conference rival Reeths-Puffer, 70-6.

The Big Reds’ conference dual meet record is 1-5.

Marcus Murar was the lone Big Red to finish the night undefeated, as he went 2-0 at 130 pounds.
