The Kent City girls basketball team jumped out to a 20-4 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 66-22 victory over Grand Rapids Union on Tuesday in a non-league game.

The Eagles continued their dominance throughout the contest, leading 34-14 at halftime and 52-18 heading into the fourth quarter.

Kaitlyn Geers paced Kent City with 16 points while Zara Weber added 11.

The Eagles improved to 13-3 overall on the season.
