The Mona Shores varsity girls bowling squad defeated Muskegon on Wednesday,  26-4.

Senior Ashlyn Cross led the Sailors with a 445 series, rolling games of 235 and 190. Sophomore Marisa Bacon also posted a 342 series (187, 155).

Mona Shores boys squad also defeated Muskegon, winning by a 21-9 final. Travis Stube rolled a high game of 200 for the Sailors, while Tony Long had a 383 series (189, 194) and Kam Pollack had a 359 series (161, 198).

Mona Shores return to the lanes on Saturday, as the Sailors compete at the Reeths-Puffer Invitational at Northway Lanes.
