In a tight and competitive game, the Montague girls basketball team outscored Muskegon Catholic 10-6 in overtime to pick up a 51-47 win on Tuesday in non-conference action.
The Crusaders (8-11, 3-6) jumped out to a 10-7 advantage after the first buzzer, but the Wildcats drew even in the second quarter to make the score 21-21 at halftime.
Montague took a 30-29 lead into the final quarter and the game was deadlocked 41-41 at the end of regulation.
Sydney Stine led the Wildcats (8-9, 6-6) with 17 points while Claudia Rumsey added a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Muskegon Catholic was paced by Hannah Ladd with 13 points and Isabelle Bertolone with 11. Zoie Price added seven points and 10 rebounds for the Crusaders.
