A strong 29-16 second-half advantage helped Muskegon Catholic Central’s varsity girls basketball team score a 55-37 non-conference victory over Pentwater on Wednesday.

With the win, the Crusaders improve to 6-8 this season.

MCC had a slim 26-21 lead at the half, but outscored Pentwater 17-10 in the third to take charge.

Talia Tyler led the Crusaders with 15 points and dished off four assists, while Isabelle Bertolone added 11 points. Emily Rauch had 10 points and eight rebounds for Catholic.

Linnea McDonogh led Pentwater with 11 points.
