A solid second quarter propelled the Oakridge boys basketball team to a 52-46 non-league victory over Fruitport on Tuesday night.

The Eagles outscored Fruitport by a 19-7 margin during the second stanza to take a 27-17 lead at the half.

The Trojans refused to go away, responding with a 16-9 third quarter run to cut their deficit to 36-33 heading into the final quarter.

Garrison Curry led the Eagles with 19 points and 17 rebounds, while the Trojans were paced by Marcelo Conklin with 13 points.
