The Whitehall wresting team won the West Michigan Conference Tournament on Saturday by an easy margin over second-place Hart.

The Vikings, who also won the regular season dual championship, wrapped up the overall conference title with the tournament win.

Whitehall totaled 221 points in the tournament, followed by Hart (159), Shelby (129), Mason County Central (118), Ravenna (54) and Montague (43).

The Vikings placed wrestlers in the final four in all 14 weight classes. Winning individual championships for Whitehall were Mitchell White (125), Trenton Blanchard (130), Josh Thommen (140), Allen Powers (145)and Kayleb Venema (160).

Jacob Hoebeke (189), Robert Altland (103), Noah Cantu (112) and Jacob Bosley (119) all won individual titles for Hart.

Other individual champs were Mason County Central’s Jacob Shoop (152), Elden McCabe (171) and Matt Quinn (215) and Shelby’s Nick Felt (135).
