The undefeated Muskegon Big Reds opened Class A district play with an easy 76-29 victory over Reeths-Puffer on Monday night on their home court.

Muskegon, now 21-0, took control of the contest with a 25-6 advantage in the first quarter.

The Big Reds outrebounded the Rockets 35-19 and got 32 points from their bench.

Sam Cornett Jr. had a productive night for Muskegon with 17 points, seven steals and four assists. Markell Jackson had 17 points and six rebounds, Jermayne Golidy scored 14 points while Jacorey Sullivan and Eonte Tornes contributed 11 points apiece.

Carter Fulton paced Reeths-Puffer with 11 points, Jalen Williams scored seven and Josh Jordon snagged five rebounds.
