The Ludington boys basketball team was a defensive machine, allowing three field goals during the first half in a 51-21 win over Cadillac on Friday night in the Class B district finals at Benzie Central.

The Orioles led 25-10 at halftime and opened the second half with a 16-6 run to take a commanding 41-16 lead.

Ludington was led by Jared Collins and Calvin Hackert with 10 points each while Sam LaDuke chipped in with eight points and seven steals.

The Orioles will play Monday night in the Class B regional semifinals against Clare at Grayling High School. Tipoff is slated for 7 P.M.
