The Spring Lake girls basketball team dominated the first half and cruised to a 46-29 victory over Orchard View on Wednesday in a Class B district semifinal matchup at Montague High School. 
The Lakers led 15-2 after the first quarter and 29-11 at halftime.
Linsey Paggeot had a team-high 12 points and nine rebounds for Spring Lake. Jenna Core chipped in eight points and nine rebounds.
Spring Lake will play for a district championship on Friday night at Montague against the winner of Wednesday’s late Oakridge-Montague semifinal.
