The Fruitport baseball team picked up an O-K Black Conference win over Muskegon on Thursday with an 8-2 victory.
The Trojans improved to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference. Muskegon fell to 0-3 overall and in the league.
Parker Tawney led the way for Fruitport, pitching six innings with seven strikeouts and knocking in three runs. Sam Steinhaur had two steals for the Trojans.
Vicai Aikens led Muskegon with three hits, including a triple, and had an RBI and a stolen base. AJ Reed added two hits and drove in one. Marcus Lane started on the mound for the Big Reds and threw two scoreless innings.
