The Fruitport baseball team dropped a pair of games to Kenowa Hills on Tuesday in an O-K Black Conference doubleheader.

The Trojans lost the opening game 1-0, then fell short by a 9-3 margin in the nightcap.

In Game 1, Connor Schuitema took the hard luck loss for Fruitport, allowing one unearned run on two hits in six innings.

Schuitema then led the Trojan offense in Game 2, with two hits and a run batted in while Parker Tawney added two hits and two RBIs of his own.

Fruitport is now 3-3 overall on the season and 3-2 in league play.
