The Spring Lake softball team defeated Allendale twice on Tuesday night to open up its O-K Blue Conference season.
The Lakers won the opener 15-5 in five innings, then took Game 2 by a 10-8 score.
Ann Marie Galloway led the Laker offense in the first game with four hits and eight RBIs, which included a three-run home run. Linsey Paggeot added four hits and four runs for Spring Lake while Leah Vaughan picked up the win on the mound.
In Game 2, Paggeot once again had four hits, while Vaughan, Lauren Hellman and Molly Poole each had two.
Lauren Somers pitched the win for Spring Lake in Game 2.
