Holton baseball team beats Lakeview in league action 4-2, falls in second game 12-8

The Holton baseball team split a doubleheader with Lakeview in CSAA conference action on Friday.

The Red Devils took the opener 4-2 before falling 12-8 in Game 2, which was called after five innings due to darkness.

Bryce Ward picked up the win in Game 1 by pitching a solid 4 1/3 innings and allowing two runs.

Blake Fialek led the Red Devils on offense with three hits on the day, including a double, and four RBIs.
