The Holton baseball team cruised past Kent City in a doubleheader sweep on Friday evening.

The Red Devils blanked the Eagles 10-0 in the opening game, then cruised past Kent City 17-1 during the nightcap.

Holton had a total of 34 hits combined in both contests and was led by Blake Fialek with seven hits and eight RBIs on the night while Brent McLaughlin chipped in with five hits.

Brandon Epplett tossed a two-hit shutout for the Red Devils in the opening game.
