The Muskegon Community College baseball team were swept in a doubleheader against Davenport J.V. on Tuesday.

The Jayhawks dropped the opening game to Davenport 11-1, then fell short in the nightcap by a 7-6 margin.

In Game 1 MCC was held offensively to just two hits in the contest while pitcher Zac Miller suffered the loss, allowing four runs on five hits in three innings tossed.

In Game 2 the Jayhawks were paced by Ryan Beadle with a single, double, and an RBI while Mitchell Wilson added two hits and two runs scored.

MCC’s Jake Boes took the loss on the mound, allowing four runs in a third of an inning in relief.

The Jayhawks are now 13-15-1 on the season and 5-7 in league play.
