The Mona Shores softball team dominated both games of a doubleheader against Muskegon to pick up its first two conference wins of the season.

The Sailors (7-9, 2-2) controlled both games to the tune of 15-0 margin of victories.

Madison Van Etten picked up the win in Game 1 with five strikeouts for Mona Shores.

Madison Cirner had an RBI triple, while Erika Dakin drove in a run with a double.

The Sailors were pace in Game 2 by Shelby Savacool with a double and three RBIs, while Veronica Kastelic added two hits and two RBIs and Cami Mazurek had an RBI single.

Lauryn Patterson picked up the win in Game 2 for Mona Shores and struck out six hitters.
