The Oakridge baseball cruised past Ludington in a non-league doubleheader on Thursday.

The Eagles (4-1) won the opening game by a 7-1 margin, then continued their success with a 15-3 victory during the nightcap.

In Game 1 Blake Masterman opened the scoring for Oakridge with a solo home run in the first inning. Masterman, Koleman Wall, Luke Layman and Brandon Wilde each collected two hits for the Eagles.

Morgan Meinders tossed the victory in the opening game, allowing one run on three hits while striking out four batters in seven innings.

In Game 2 the Eagles were led by Wall, Monty Cerchiori, Hunter Jennings, Meinders, Layman and Brady Luttrull with two hits each.

Masterman scored three times for Oakridge while Wall knocked in four runs. Jennings pitched the win in the nightcap for the Eagles.
