The Ravenna baseball squad shutout Mason County Central in both games of a doubleheader on Tuesday night in West Michigan Conference action.

The Bulldogs blanked Mason County Central 5-0 in the opening game, then cruised past the Spartans 16-0 in the nightcap.

In Game 1, Brian Thompson threw a two-hitter while striking out nine batters for the Bulldogs.

Anthony Arbogast had three hits, three runs scored and three stolen bases for Ravenna, while Brendan Redding and Caleb McCullough each chipped in with two hits.

Game 2 Austin Sied got the victory on the mound for the Bulldogs striking out six batters.

Ravenna is now 4-2 on the season and a perfect 4-0 in league play.
