The Ravenna baseball team fell short in both of its games against Coopersville on Thursday in a non-league doubleheader.

The Bulldogs lost the opening game 3-2, then were blanked by the Broncos 6-0 during the nightcap.

In Game 1 Austin Sied paced Ravenna with two hits, a run scored and an RBI while Brendan Redding took the loss on the mound.

In Game 2 each team had a total of four hits apiece.

Ravenna’s David Thompson took the loss of the mound, allowing one hit while striking out five batters in three innings.
