Spring Lake girls soccer team shuts down Coopersville, 4-0

The Spring Lake girls soccer squad blanked Coopersville 4-0 in an O-K Blue Conference contest on Monday.

Coco McKeough opened the scoring for the Lakers to give Spring Lake a 1-0 advantage at halftime.

Spring Lake added three goals in the second half led by Emily Elizabeth Batts with two goals and Kaley George with a single tally.

Laney Peasley, Lilly Saunders, Keara Fritsche and Maddy Wright each chipped in with an assist apiece for the Lakers.

Spring Lake’s goalkeeper Gracie VanLangeveld held Coopersville scoreless to pick up the shutout victory.
