Spring Lake pounds Sparta in girls soccer action, 8-0

Laney Peasley starred for the Spring Lake girls soccer team in an 8-0 victory over Sparta on Wednesday.

Peasley scored four goals and collected an assist to lead the Lakers to an easy victory.

Kaley George played a big role with three assists while Keara Fritsche added one goal and two assists for Spring Lake.

Grace Thornley and Phoebe Saunders each contributed with a goal and an assist for the Lakers and Maddy Wright also scored a goal.

Spring Lake’s goalkeeper Kamryn Lewkowski registered her second consecutive shutout.
