The Whitehall girls soccer team defeated Montague 5-1 on Tuesday in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Vikings were led with balance scoring as Lauren Baustert, Talia Megna, Emma Thompson each had a goal.

Whitehall, which is now 1-1 on the season and 1-0 in league play, led at halftime 3-0.

Kerrigan Semans stopped all eight shots faced in goal for the Vikings.

The Wildcats lone goal was scored 30 seconds into the second half by Sarah Weesies.
