Fruitport softball sweeps non-conference doubleheader against Cedar Springs

Fruitport softball swept Cedar Springs in non-conference action Thursday.

The Trojans took the opener, 7-4 and doubled up Cedar Springs, 12-6 in the nightcap.

Auroa Wilks picked up the win in Game 1, tossing a complete game with three strikeouts.

Kirsten Sweet paced the Trojan offense with two hits and Alexis Jurgens added two RBI’s.

In Game 2, Rachel Paulsen earned the win, throwing a complete game.

Brooklyn Samlow contributed three hits and five RBI’s.
