The Grant baseball team swept both games of a doubleheader with Fremont on Tuesday.

The Tigers took the opening game 10-1 before closing out the day with an 11-2 win.

Spencer Naffziger threw five shutout innings with nine strikeouts to get the win for Grant.

Naffziger also drove in two runs on two hits while Ian Francisco added two hits and two RBIs.

Cooper Kukal paced the Packers with a hit and an RBI in the opener.

Chase Lowery and Zach VanderWeide each had two hits for the Tigers in Game 2 while Tyler Zimmerman led Fremont with two hits and James Pekel had an RBI.
