The Western Michigan Christian/Muskegon Catholic softball team split a doubleheader with Newaygo on Tuesday to conclude regular season play. Each team went home with a 3-0 victory and a 0-3 loss.

WMCC finishes the regular season 10-22 overall and 4-8 in Lakes 8 Conference play.

In game 1, WMCC left eight runners on base as Newaygo slowly built up to a 3-0 lead over the first three innings. Haylee Moser led the WMCC offense with two hits.

In game 2, Moser brought a no-hitter into the sixth inning, but gave up a hit with two outs left in the game to finish with a one-hitter. Moser and Hannah Nestell led the way offensively with two hits apiece.
