The Hesperia baseball team swept White Cloud in a doubleheader on Tuesday night in CSAA Silver action.

The Panthers took Game 1 by a score of 12-2 and won the nightcap 14-9.

Zach Young got the win for Hesperia in Game 1 by pitching five innings and striking out six batters.

Gavin Schmitz led the Panther offense with three hits and four runs scored, while Bobby Castillo and Brendan McAree each had two hits.

In Game 2, Gage Balkema threw three scoreless innings in relief and had three hits, two runs and an RBI offensively.

Logan Balkema added two hits, two RBIs and two stolen bases for the Panthers.

Hesperia now sits at 12-8-1 overall and 10-5-1 in league play.
