The Western Michigan Christian baseball team swept Manistee in Lakes 8 action on Tuesday night.

WMC won the opening game by a score of 7-2 and the nightcap by an 11-1 margin.

Cam Waller got the win in Game 1 by pitching six innings and striking out eight batters for the Warriors, while Tyler Van Beek and Jamo Goorman led the offense with two hits each.

In Game 2, Michael Kamps pitched five innings for the win for WMC.

Goorman led the Warrior offense with three hits and three runs scored.

WMC’s Cam Waller, Nick Moser and Brant Zeerip added two hits apiece, while Travis Goodrich contributed two RBIs.
