Mia Virag scored two goals to lead the Reeths-Puffer girls soccer team to a big 3-0 win over Fruitport on Tuesday in a key O-K Black Conference matchup.

Virag scored her first goal about five minutes into the game, giving the Rockets a 1-0 lead. Becca Bride found the net with about 11 minutes left in the first half, and Reeths-Puffer led 2-0 at halftime.

Virag closed out the scoring with her second goal with about five minutes left in the game.

Reeths-Puffer goalkeeper Elysia Mattos stopped seven Fruitport shots and recorded her eighth shutout of the season.

The Rockets improved to 8-3-1 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. Fruitport fell to 8-2 and 3-2.
