Montague and Whitehall split a doubleheader on Tuesday in West Michigan Conference action.

Montague rolled to the victory in Game 1, 17-0. Luke Marsh pitched the win, giving up only two hits and striking out four in four innings.

Remington Schneider and Nick Stever each had two hits for the Wildcats while Abram Erickson and Zach Buchberger each had two.

Whitehall got even in the nightcap with a 7-2 victory.

Ben VanSumeren got the win on the mound for the Vikings, scattering six hits in six innings with three strikeouts.

Tom Balaskovitz had three hits for the Vikings while Haddan Young and Alec Milliron had two apiece.

Drake Roesler had two hits for Montague.
