The Montague girls soccer squad closed out its conference regular season play on Monday night with a 1-0 victory over rival Shelby in West Michigan Conference play.

McKenna Lohman’s second half goal proved to be the game winner for the Wildcats, who earned their third win in a row.

Montague’s goalkeeper Brooklyn Schneider stopped several shots to secure the shut out win, while the defense in front of her shut down a speedy Shelby front line.
