The North Muskegon girls tennis team took part in the Division 4 regional at Grand Rapids Northpointe Christian on Thursday.
The Norse team finished with a team score high enough to advance to the state finals on June 2-3 at Holly Area.
Brittany Bailey finished runner up in #1 singles flight for North Muskegon.
In doubles action, Belles Hardman and Mary Hoopes took home first in #1 doubles flight while the team of Sophia Effken and Carin Steketee took runner up in #4 doubles.
Meanwhile, the Fruitport girls tennis team played in the division 3 regional at Spring Lake on Thursday.
Three singles players won their flights, helping the Trojans advance to the state finals on June 2-3 at Kalamazoo College.
Trinity Busscher won #2 singles, Kaitlyn Labash won #3 singles, and Haleigh Wineshas won #4 singles.
Vanessa Heylmun of Whitehall finished runner up in #1 singles and also advanced to the state finals.
