The North Muskegon baseball team jumped out to a quick lead and cruised past Muskegon 13-1 in a non-league game on Monday at Marsh Field.
The Norse scored six first innings runs to jump out to a 6-0 advantage.
Brett Huff knocked in three runs with a double for North Muskegon while Sean Bickford added a two-run double.
Jesse Cooke, Brenden Moat and Huff each scored two runs for the Norse, who improved their record to 10-8 on the season.
North Muskegon’s Jimmy Cobb pitched the victory, tossing two innings of shutout baseball.
