Holton and Kent City played two very competitive conference baseball games on Wednesday.

The Red Devils took Game 1, 4-3, in eight innings, while the second game, a 7-7 tie, was called short due to darkness.

Jacob Tanner picked up the win for Holton in Game 1. Dalton Giddings paced the offense with four hits and three RBIs on the day, while Blake Fialek was an on-base machine with five walks and a double.

Skylor Campbell and Colton Atwood had four hits apiece to lead Kent City.
