The Oakridge softball team claimed its second straight West Michigan Conference title on Tuesday after sweeping North Muskegon in a doubleheader.

The Eagles cruised past North Muskegon in the opener 14-1, then won the nightcap 18-2.

Oakridge was led in Game 1 by Hannah Reinhold with a home run and four RBIs, while Kayla Fessenden added a three-run home run and Brie Pastor chipped in with three hits, including a double.

Fessenden tossed the victory in the opener, allowing two hits while striking out 11 batters in five innings.

In Game 2 the Eagles were paced by Madison Carroll with five hits while Kaylee Pascavis, Pastor and Sophie Wiard each added three hits.

Carroll tossed the win, allowing two hits while striking out nine batters.

The Eagles are now 28-3 on the season and 14-0 in league play.
