The Oakridge softball team defeated neighborhood rival Orchard View 7-2 in a non-league contest on Wednesday.

The Eagles, how 29-3 on the season, took advantage of three OV errors in the first inning to grab a decisive four-run lead.

Kayla Fessenden pitched a complete-game win for Oakridge, striking out five and scattering seven hits. She also had two hits and one RBI at the plate. Alyssa Fessenden added a two-run homer and Sophia Wiard hit a triple.

Jaelyn Eggerson collected three singles and an RBI for Orchard View.
