The Reeths-Puffer baseball squad swept its non-league doubleheader with North Muskegon on Monday.
The Rockets won a close opening game 3-2, then cruised past the Norse 13-1 in the nightcap.
Reeths-Puffer is now 10-16 on the season while the Norse are 12-11 this campaign.
The Norse jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning of Game 1 behind RBI singles from Mack Young and Jake Bean.
Reeths-Puffer tied the game 2-2 in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly from Colton Brown and an RBI single by Collin Houseman.
The go-ahead run came in the sixth inning when Josh Pollock scored on a first-and-third double steal.
Carson Aerts picked up the win on the mound in the opening game for the Rockets.
In Game 2, Cole Aerts shut down the Norse on the mound for Reeths-Puffer, allowing just three hits.
The Rockets, on the other hand, recorded 14 hits, led by Houseman’s two singles and a double.
Pollock’s solo homerun capped off the 13-run scoring outburst.
