Reeths-Puffer blanks Ludington in girls soccer to open Div. 2 district play

The Reeths-Puffer girls soccer team started district play by blanking Ludington 5-0 on Tuesday in Division 2 play.

The Rockets led 1-0 at the half before exploding for four goals in the second half.

Allie Wernstrom, Lauren Jones, Amber Blaski, Becca Bride and Lexi Bolles each scored one goal for Reeths-Puffer.

Rocket goalkeeper Elysia Mattos was in net for the shutout win.

The Rockets (15-5-2) will play Spring Lake in the district semi-finals on Thursday.
