Spring Lake softball continues conference win streak with victory over Sparta

Spring Lake softball earned an 11-6 O-K Blue Conference win over Sparta Thursday.

Between the the Lakes 8 and O-K Blue, the Lakers have now won 51 straight conference games dating back almost three years since their last loss.

Lauren Somers picked up the win on the mound for Spring Lake, while Lauren Hellman led the offense with three hits. Ann Marie Galloway added two hits including a 3-run homerun.

Spring Lake improves to 15-2 overall and 9-0 in conference play.
