The Spring Lake softball team dominated both ends of a doubleheader with Coopersville on Tuesday. The eighth-ranked Lakers won 10-0 and 15-0 to improve to 20-2 on the season and 11-0 in the O-K Blue Conference.

Spring Lake pitcher Leah Vaughan shut down the Broncos in Game 1, allowing just two hits. Linsey Paggeot drove in four runs with a home run and two doubles. Lauren Hellman added three hits, while Vaughan, Molly Poole, Jenna Core and Lauren Somers had two apiece.

Somers pitched the nightcap for Spring Lake and struck out six. Poole belted a three-run homer to get the offense rolling and Paggeot picked up four more RBIs. Vaughan added three hits, while Hellman and Addison Lindsey had two each.
