The Reeths-Puffer girls soccer team shut out Muskegon 9-0 on Thursday in an O-K Black Conference tilt.

Shelby Springer paced the Rockets with two goals. Amber Blaski, Mia Bekk and Kendall Jones each chipped in with a goal and an assist, while Elysia Mattos, Morgan Szost and Abby Sykes each had single goals.

Mattos, the Rockets’ goalkeeper, earned her ninth shutout of the season and the 42nd of her varsity career. She is currently tied for 15th in the Michigan record book for career shutouts.

Reeths-Puffer improved to 9-3-1 overall and 5-1 in conference action.
