The Fruiport baseball team picked up a 6-0 win over O-K Black opponent Grand Rapids Union on Thursday behind a 
strong performance from Parker Tawney.
Tawney tossed a complete game, struck out nine and allowed just three hits. He also drove in two runs with two hits.
Connor Schuitema, Dominic Colegrove and Brendan Peterman also collected two hits apiece.
The Trojans are now 8-12 on the season, including 6-9 in conference play.
