Mona Shores softball took two from Wyoming in non-conference action Thursday.

The Sailors took the opener, 9-6, behind freshman pitcher Madison VanEtten, who struck out six in the win.

Taylor Dew led the offense, homering twice and driving in five runs for Shores.

Ryleigh Wehler, Veronica Kastelic, and Shelby Savacool added two hits each.

Lauryn Patterson struck out six for Shores, in a 17-5 Game 2 win.

Dew added another home run for the Sailors, while Zoie Willeke and Erika Dakin had two hits each.

The Sailors are now 12-10 overall and 3-3 in the O-K Black.
