Vaughan leads Spring Lake softball in conference victory over Coopersville

Leah Vaughan struck out 10 as Spring Lake softball rolled to a 12-0 O-K Blue win over Coopersville Thursday.

Lauren Hellman gave the Lakers the only lead they would need, hitting a homerun to lead off the game.

Madelyn Nelson, Molly Poole, Jenna Core, Kileah Rymal and Vaughan finished the game with two hits apiece.

Spring Lake improves to 21-2 overall and 12-0 in conference.
