The Whitehall softball squad won two games on Saturday in non-league action to improve to 24-9 on the season.

The Vikings defeated Newaygo in Game 1 7-2, then won the second game by an 11-2 margin against Montabella.

Whitehall’s Ella Lyvere tossed the win in Game 1, allowing two hits while striking out eight batters.

Katelyn Goodrich paced the Viking offense with three RBIs while Jessica Uganski knock in two runs with a double.

The Vikings were led by Kate Martin in Game 2 with two two-run home runs, while Madison Bond added three hits and Catherine Manns chipped in with two doubles and two RBIs.
