Grand Haven soccer team pulls away in second half, beats TC West 4-1

The Grand Haven soccer team defeated Traverse City West 4-1 on Tuesday in non-conference action.

The Bucs opened the scoring in the first half when Jack DeKlyen chipped a free kick off the head of Trent Perkins and into the goal.

TC West tied the game in the second half , then Grand Haven pulled away with three goals.

The tie-breaker came from Connor Lund, with an assist from Tavin Ardell. The Bucs went up 3-1 on a goal by Joe Walsh, who was assisted by Noah VanOordt.

Jaden King finished the scoring for the Bucs with a heel strike from six yards out, after taking a pass from Conner Lund.
