The Hesperia volleyball team defeated Holton 3-1 on Wednesday evening in a CSAA neighborhood showdown.

Holton took the first set 25-19 before Hesperia rallied to win the next three sets 25-22, 25-19, and 25-20.

Hesperia was led by Alyssa Miller with 12 kills and Delaney Hussey with 10 kills. Kyra Sayer contributed 18 assists while Emily Bayle had 18 digs.

Megan Baker led Holton with seven kills and two blocks while Morgan Murat added seven kills. Madi Baker held up the defensive end with 18 digs and Kaylie Piper led in aces with five.

Hesperia is now 5-4-1 overall and 1-1 in league play. Holton falls to 2-10-2 overall and 1-1 in the CSAA.
