The Holland Christian girls cross country team finished with 35 points to capture the Cardinal Invitational at Orchard View Monday.

Reeths-Puffer finished second with 64 points, followed by Spring Lake (66), Whitehall (119) and Manistee (150).

Western Michigan Christian (179) finished seventh, while Montague (231) was ninth.

The Rockets’ Kendall Jones finished second overall, with a time of 20:27.00, while Nora Mitteer of Whitehall was third with a time of 20:36.55.

Jayme Brantsen of Reeths-Puffer finished fourth, while Josie Aardema of WMC (ninth) and Elizabeth Penrice of Spring Lake (10th) also finished among the individual leaders.
