WMC volleyball team beats Lansing Christian, falls to Zion Christian at home

The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team had an up-and -own night on Wednesday at home, splitting a pair of matches.

The Warriors defeated Lansing Christian 25-8, 25-15, then lost to Zion Christian 25-19, 22-25,10-15.

Madison Heiss and Anna Sytsema each had seven kills for WMC, Chloe Mitchell had 36 assists and Abby Summerfield served up five aces.

Defensively, Summerfield had 22 digs and Aubrey Goorman had four blocks.

The Warriors are now 10-13 on the season.
