The Hesperia football team had a rough night against Wyoming Godwin Heights on Thursday, falling 43-13 in non-conference action.

Wyoming had a 7-0 edge after the first quarter, then took control by outscoring the Panthers 21-7 in the second quarter and 15-8 in the second half.

The Panthers’ Gerrit Yates had a 59-yard punt return in the second quarter. Kanin Witte added a 68-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He finished with 111 yards on 24 carries. Zach Young had 57 yards on 10 carries.
